LMR Technical Group (LMR) is seeking an Athletic Trainer to join our team at Joint Base Langley - Eustis, VA.

Mach 2 class. Up to 9 Gs. One pilot in the cockpit. Your job is to help keep that human system ready for the next sortie.

This is Athletic Training in a completely different arena.

At Joint Base Langley-Eustis, Virginia, you will support F-22 Raptor aircrew assigned to one of the most consequential air dominance missions in the Air Force through the Optimizing the Human Weapon System Program.

The aircraft is extraordinary. The physical demands on the person flying it are just as real.

Your expertise in movement, musculoskeletal care, injury prevention, recovery, and human performance becomes part of keeping fighter pilots durable, capable, and ready to fly.

And this is Langley.

The 1st Fighter Wing, “America’s First Team,” was the Air Force’s first operational F-22 wing and today operates and maintains half of the service’s F-22 inventory. The Raptor itself is built for air dominance, with Mach 2 class performance and a published limit of +9 Gs.

All of it sits in Virginia’s Hampton Roads, surrounded by the Chesapeake Bay, military aviation, and generations of American aerospace history.

Take the interview.

Hear the mission. Meet the team. See what Athletic Training looks like when your athletes fly Raptors.

Then decide for yourself.

Most Athletic Trainers know what it feels like to stand on a sideline.

Very few get to do it with F-22s on the flight line.
